The Air Conditioner (A/C) is an electrical device in ARK: Survival Evolved that provides a short-range increase in hyperthermal and hypothermal insulation when powered, making it useful for survival and breeding.
The most common usage is to hatch eggs and protect them from heat.
Typically, the Air Conditioner is used to cool or heat a particular area. You can combing multiple air conditioners to get a better result. Air Conditioners are quite expensive though so it can be difficult to gather a lot of them.
Since it doesn’t require a foundation for placement, it does not interfere with the spawning of natural resources. It does not snap to other structures. You will need an electrical generator or cable to power these units.

Make sure to have enough space and fuel before you start this system. Eggs are quite fragile and can break if you don’t get the system going correctly. This would be a shame as you have invested quite a lot in setting things up.

You will have to monitor your AC to make sure that it runs properly. You can use a thermometer to check that it is doing its job.
